Question 2

Accepted Answer

Palm Lakes includes freestanding homes, vacant land, sectional-title property and retirement options.

Question 3

Is Palm Lakes pet friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but pets require approval. The supplied January 2025 rules allow a maximum of two dogs or cats in total per dwelling, with registration, inoculation, sterilisation and microchipping requirements. A sectional-title scheme may impose stricter rules, including restrictions on cats.

Plans require Palm Lakes design-committee and municipal approval, the builder must be NHBRC registered, and once work starts the house must be completed within 13 months under the supplied contractor rules.

Accepted Answer

The rules set a maximum estate speed of 40 km/h and recommend 30 km/h because roads are shared with children, older residents, cyclists and wildlife.

Question 7

What should buyers verify at Palm Lakes?

Accepted Answer

Compare the exact precinct and ownership type, levy structure, distance to facilities, pet approval and any retirement or sectional-title restrictions. The supplied rules limit a household to two dogs or cats in total with approval, restrict ordinary letting to six months or longer unless management consents, and set detailed obligations for vacant-land buyers and builders.

Question 8

How are building and design managed at Palm Lakes?

Accepted Answer
